We are concerned parents of Montgomery County Public Schools in Maryland who want to improve the food served in schools to our children.
We no longer find it acceptable to offer processed food, sugared milk, and sugary desserts at lunch to our children. For some children these meals comprise the bulk of their daily calories. We intend to change the food offered to our children so that it is fresh, healthy, eco and farm friendly.
